To start Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Online Form through CSC (Common Service Centers), central government has signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Ministry of Urban Poverty Alleviation (MHUPA) Ministry and Common Services Centre e-Governance Services India Ltd (CSC) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for providing housing units to all by 2022.
The government has completed all the tasks to start the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) online application forms through Common Service Centres. The government signed MoU for online application of PMAY Urban through CSC in the presence of Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu & Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The application procedure for filling online application for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is very easy. Online application facility for PM Awas Yojana Urban will be available in around 60,000 CSC (Common Services Centre) which are spread over the nation in urban areas.

The online process of filling application form for PM Awas Yojana will boost the number of applications for the scheme. And for filling online application, the interested one have to visit CSCs and pay only Rs. 25/- for per application. In this process some important document of the applicants will also be required such as Aadhar Card which is mandatory.
If the applicant does not have the Aadhar Card, then e-KYC (Know Your Customer) norms will be followed for filing online application. Besides this, CSE will also help these applicants to get an Aadhar Card. The verification of documents submitted by applicants and other information will be done by e-KYC.
After the submission, an acknowledgement receipt of the online application of PMAY would be provided to the applicants in the print form. It will contains the information such as unique application ID and a photograph of applicant. The unique application ID will further help the applicant to check the status of their application.
