MHADA Lottery 2016 in Mumbai will soon out from the box of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority for the allotment of homes in different area of Mumbai region. According to the source, MHADA is all set to announce new housing lottery 2016 for Mumbai.

A lottery for 970 flats in areas like Pratiksha Nagar in Sion, Rawalpada in Dahisar, Unnat Nagar in Goregaon and Chembur has been planned by MHADA and applications and registrations for MHADA lottery 2016 in Mumbai will be declared within a week.

The Vice President and CEO of MHADA, S.S. Zende quoted that we will announce the Mumbai Board lottery for 970 homes within a week and declare the results by end of June.

MHADA lottery is a regular process of the authority for the allotment of houses and every year MHADA announce a lottery in the start of May month and declares lottery result by May end, but this time a lottery for mill workers is in its ongoing process due to the reason MHADA Mumbai Board lottery for 2016 is delayed by about 2-3 weeks. The first week of May month is the regular time period of MHADA for the launch of its new lottery.

As per the earlier announcements of MHADA, a lottery of 1,000 flats will be conducted by the authority is May 2016 but in the current news, only 970 flats would be available in MHADA Mumbai Lottery 2016.

In 2015, 1063 flats were offered for allotment and every year MHADA offers houses in the number of four digits and from last five year MHADA is maintain this digit. But this time authority disappoints buyers who are in need of affordable homes.
