MHADA Lottery 2016 in Mumbai for 1084 Houses in April 1st Week

After the successful completion of the first of the two housing lotteries, MHADA is all set to launch the second MHADA Lottery 2016 in Mumbai for allotment of affordable homes. MHADA is offering a total of 1084 affordable homes in Mumbai through its Mumbai Board’s housing lottery 2016.

According to the sources, MHADA lottery 2016 in Mumbai for 1084 flats will be announced anytime in the first week of April. The affordable homes under the lottery are available at several locations within Mumbai including Sion, Dahisar, Mulund, Goregaon, Chembur and so on.

Similar to earlier schemes, the applications for the housing lottery will be accepted through the online modes. After accepting the online applications, the lottery draw will be announced on 31st May 2016. The interested applicants will be given a time period of about 1 month to register and apply for MHADA lottery 2016 in Mumbai.

MHADA offered 4275 affordable flats through Konkan board in Virar, Thane, Mira Road and Vengurla in January this year in the first of the two housing lotteries. A total of 1.65 Lakh applications were received for the MHADA lottery 2016 for 4275 flats in February. Out of the total applications, about 2500 were rejected due to various reasons.

MHADA last year announced to bring two separate housing lotteries in 2016 one through each Konkan and Mumbai board. So, get ready this time to grab an affordable home in Mumbai through MHADA lottery. The online registrations and applications will be invited through the official website of MHADA at mhada.maharashtra.gov.in.

MHADA offers affordable homes in the state every year through lottery system. In the previous year lottery, MHADA offered a total 1,063 affordable homes. Below are the number of homes sold by MHADA through lotteries since 2008.
