Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has announced to launch 6 new housing schemes in the city for the residents of Rajasthan. The authority took the decision of launching the new housing schemes during a PWC meeting held on Friday, 16th January. The new residential schemes will be launched soon according to the press note released by the authority.

The authority plans to launch one farm house scheme along with the 6 schemes. The authority will be offering a total of 7,256 plots under the schemes at different locations. The approval for the projects were given in the recent meeting of Public Works Committee on Friday, 16th January.
The largest of the 6 new residential housing schemes of Jaipur Development Authority will be the one in Kodar village of Sanganer Tehsil where the authority will build 2,885 plots on an approximate area of 7.86 lakh square metre. The second largest scheme will offer 2,057 plots in Avaniya village of the same tehsil and will be developed on 6.86 lakh square metre.

Following are the locations and number of the residential plots being offered user the schemes

Along with these schemes, Jaipur JDA will also offer 126 plots to rehabilitate affected families of the ring road project in Dayalpura village of Sanganer.
The farm house scheme of the authority will be launched in Riyani Tehsil of Amber constituency with an area of nearly 86,300 square metre on which 25% of the portion will be auctioned for farm houses. The remaining 23,000 square metre area of land will be used for the residential purpose.
According to the JDA officials, the minimum size of plots in the 2015 schemes will be 45 square meter while the maximum size would be 252 square metre. The authority has decided the number of plots and sizes of the schemes to be launched after the code of conduct of the panchayat poll is is over. The prices of the plots is yet to be decided and the authority is working on that.
The applications for the schemes will be invited through both online and offline modes like previous schemes of JDA.
The authority in August 2014 had launched 11 housing schemes in which it offered about 6600 plots to the residents of the state.
