JDA EWS/LIG Scheme Draw for 3554 Plots on 17 November

Jaipur Development Authority has proposed the lottery draw of its latest residential plot scheme for EWS & LIG categories on 17th November at Citizen Care Centre, Jaipur Development Authority, Jaipur. The authority is offering a total of 3554 residential plots under the Niji Khatedar Approved Schemes. Under these scheme, the private developer who are building the housing projects in an area of 5,000 square metre or above have to keep 15% of the constructed units or 5% of construction area for the EWS and LIG categories as per the developer rules.

The authority has received a total of 42789 applications out of which 23280 applications were made for the EWS plots and rest 19509 for the LIG flats. There are 1532 residential plots for the EWS and 2022 plots for the LIG category. The authority has withdrawn the allotment of plots in the Neelkanth Enclave Scheme in zone 11 due to some administrative reasons.

This time, Jaipur Development Authority may also not return the application fee of the successful applicants which it returned in its past schemes. The authority will be considering it as administrative charges. The authority is expected to earn about Rs 4.5 Crores from the registration fee from its latest schemes.

According to the JDA officials, the authority is already providing the homes at a very economical rates so withholding the registration amount will not create any burden on the scheme applicants. This will be the first time in the history of JDA that the authority has forfeited the registration fee as the administrative charges.
