YEIDA to Launch New Residential Plot Scheme on New Year

Yamuna Expressway Industrial development Authority is planning to launch a residential plot scheme in the beginning of new year 2015. According to the authority CEO, PC Gupta, the authority has converted the sector from group housing to residential for the purpose.

YEIDA has been receiving suggestions for years to launch residential scheme with small area plots. The authority will offer 162 and 120 square meter plots in this scheme. The authority will not make any allotment in the sector 22-D from now onwards since this has been reserved for the residential purpose.

In the previous schemes of Yamuna Authority, the minimum size of plots was 300 square meter. The authority allotted 21000 plots in its first scheme of sizes 300, 500 and 1000 square meters but the possession has not been given so far because of some dispute with farmers. However, the YEIDA is expected to resolve the dispute soon and give possessions soon.

Along with this scheme, the authority will also bring scheme for the economically weaker section and lower income groups of the society.
