Delhi Development Authority has decided to refund the registration amount to the unsuccessful applicants of housing scheme 2014 by within one month after the closure of scheme. The scheme has already been closed on 15th October after extending the date from earlier decided 9th October.
Delhi Development Authority at the time of launch of the scheme mentioned in the brochure that if the applicant is not successful in the draw, the registration amount will be refunded within 3 months after the closure of the scheme. But DDA vice-chairman Balvinder Kumar told Hindustan Times that “Earlier the decision was to refund the money within three months, but I thought why should people unnecessarily keep their money deposited and lose interest? That is why I have decided that now the amount shall be returned within a month,”.
The registration amount for the LIG, MIG and HIG categories was Rs. 1 Lakh and for Economically Weaker Section flats, it was Rs 10,000.
The authority has also declared in the scheme brochure that it will not pay any interest to the applicants for up to 90 days on their registration amount. The new decision taken by the authority will help reduce the burden of interest on the applicants who have availed loan for the registration amount from the banks.
DDA keep the registration amount of all the schemes as fixed deposit and use the money generated through interest for housing and other infrastructure projects.
The authority, however, if unable to refund the registration amount within 90 days will pay an interest at the rate of 8% per annum starting after 90 days. The housing scheme which closed on 15th October received about 7.5 lakh applications from across India against about 20 Lakh number of forms sold calculating to about 28 applications per flat. DDA earlier expected to received about 15 Lakh applications for its 2014 housing scheme.
The applicants can check the status of DDA housing scheme application on DDA website by entering their application or form number.
Hi, neeraj. actually I have filled dda flat 2014 scheme form on 15 oct. but i hv filled my bank branch name wrong by mistake. it is located in c-2 and 3, block y, 348, noida sec 12, but i filled that sec 18 noida. so wht vl b the effect of this mistake abt draw. m i eligible or not for draw. pls reply as soon as possible. thanx in advance.

sir my application number not shown in check status of dda application what can i do
I have submitted my application for DDA Housing Scheme 2014 vide application No. 1422611 through PNB, Naraina Vihar on 07/10/2014. Till date, on DDA site “NO DATA FOUND” message displays. Bank says they have sent the data to DDA already. Since there is little time left, it appears that some sort of scam is brewing up in DDA otherwise the details should display there. As DDA has announced to refund money by 15th November and draw of lot will be on 10th November. Also, applicant has little time to act and force authorities to take corrective steps. The schedule is too tight to be comfortable given that our data does not shows on DDA site till now. The status pl. be confirmed.
Hey neeraj i hv also filled dda form with the number 0104128 and till date the site is not showing my details i hv asked pnb officials also they r sayn they deposited the form same day…please help me in this matter
