Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board or UPAVP is the governing body of Uttar Pradesh Government creating and implementing planned housing infrastructure according to consumer needs and preferences.

- To identify and acquire land for developing residential housing projects across the state.
- To implement newer technologies in construction works with price affordability.
- To facilitate public private partnership (PPP) to cater to the housing needs of the society in time.
- To ensure the development and regular functioning of basis residential facilities across the state.
