Gobar Dhan Yojana 2023 Online Registration at sbm.gov.in/gobardhan

Government is inviting online registration / application for Gobar Dhan Yojana 2023 at sbm.gov.in. The scheme namely Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Gobar Dhan Yojana was firstly announced by the then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on 1st February 2018. Gobar Dhan Scheme  shall benefits rural people in general and women in particular from clean bio gas fuel.

Gobar Dhan Scheme 2023

The Gobar Dhan Scheme will focus on managing cattle dung and use it as bio-fuel/ bio-CNG. According, Gobar Dhan scheme is another step of central govt. to “Double the Farmers income by 2022”.

Gobar Dhan initiative shall support biodegradable waste recovery and conversion of waste into resources. This shall provide economic and resource benefits to farmers and households and also support creating clean villages which is the objective of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gamin).

Gobar Dhan Yojana 2023

Gobar Dhan Yojana proposes to cover 700 projects across the country. The scheme will be implemented in two phase i.e, 350 projects in 1st half of the year and rest in 2nd half. The state may choose to develop at least one project per district or as many viable projects as possible to achieve effective bio waste management in the villages. The programme will be funded under SLWM component of SBM-G following the suggested guidlines of SBM(G).

The total assistance under SBM (G) for SLWM project is on the basic of total number of households in each GP, subject to a maximum of Rs. 7 lakh for a GP having up to 150 households, Rs.12 lakh up to 300 households, Rs.15 lakh up to 500 households and Rs.20 lakh for GPs with more than 500 households.

Step-1: Visit the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation official website https://sbm.gov.in/Gobardhan/

Step-2: Home page of website will open

Step-3: At Home Page, click at the “Registration” tab present in the main Menu as shown below:-

Step-4: The registration form for Gobar Dhan Scheme will open as shown below:-

Step-6: Fill the Personal Details, Address Details in the registration from

Step-7: Select Perferred User Id, Enter mobile no and click for OTP to verify Mobile No.

Step-8: Enter OTP Code, Password, confirm Password, Enter Captcha Code and click at Submit option.

Step-9: After successful registration, applicant farmers can make “login using their Username , Password and click at “Login In” button.

The government has also identified 115 districts where govt. will make invertment in various social services and develop them as role models. According, these social services will include health & education, nutrition, rural electrification and drinking water in a timely manner.
