New DDA Housing Scheme Coming in July 2014

News and Updates | By Rajkumar

According to the sources of Delhi Development Authority, a new housing scheme will be launched in July 2014, after a gap of almost 4 years.

The wait is finally over for the people of economically weaker sections and low income group as the new scheme will cater to the needs of both. According to the statement released by DDA sources to The Asia Age newspaper, under this scheme houses will be offered in Dwarka and Rohini Regions.

Even though, no specific date has been fixed for the announcement but the scheme will be announced someday in July 2014 and is expected to offer at least 35,000 EWS and LIG houses.

According to the DDA Vice-Chairman Bakvinder Kumar, this will be an ambitious scheme and will have one-bedroom flats for the economically weaker sections as well as normal LIG size flats.

However construction of flats under few earlier schemes is still pending in Vasant Kunj. The DDA is expected to complete this construction soon and has also planned to offer better quality of construction under the new scheme.
