List of Documents Required for DDA Housing Scheme 2014 Allotment

Closed on 15th October, Delhi Development Authority‘s largest ever housing scheme of 25,034 flats at different locations for different categories have attracted about 10 Lakh applications. This means that one applicant will be allotted a flat among every 40 applicants. The draw date of the schemes is still not final, however the draw is expected to be held on 11 November after a trial run on 10th.

The draw of DDA 2014 scheme can be watched online on Youtube. The unsuccessful candidates will get their registration amount refunded within 1 month after the draw instead of 3 months. And, the lucky ones, successful candidates will be required to complete the allotment formalities in which the document verification is most important.

Here we are listing the documents required for DDA housing scheme 2014 allotment after issuing of demand-allotment letter. No documents were taken from the applicants at the time of registration for the scheme except the photograph. If you do not have any of the below listed documents, there might be a difficulty during the allotment process or the possession.

So, below is the complete of required documents, get all the prepared.

For all categories

  1. Self attested copy of PAN card issued by Income Tax department of India. PAN card is no required in case of EWS applicants.
  2. Residence proof, any of the below
    • Self attested copy of passport
    • Government identity card
    • Election card/Voter ID
    • Ration card
    • Driving license
    • Telephone bill/Electricity bill/Water bill
    • House tax receipt
    • Bank passbook
    • CGHS or Aadhar card
  3. Self attested copy of bank pass book/statement of account mentioned in the application form for last one year or last one copy of income tax return filed for the financial year 2012-13.
  4. Ownership proof of the property of the residence of the applicant
  5. Proof of income in case of EWS issued from the office of concerned SDM/Tehsildar.

For reserved categories
The following documents will be required from the reserved categories in addition to the above listed.

  • An attested copy of original certificate issued from the office of Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate of the area concerned in case of applicant belongs to the reserved category of SC/ST.
  • An attested copy of original certificate issued by the Medical records of a Govt. Hospital in case the applicant is applying under the reserved category of persons with disability. An attested copy of guardianship certificate, wherever applicable be attached.
  • An attested copy of discharge certificate from the competent authority of Ministry of defense/armed forces in case of ex-serviceman.
  • An attested copy of “Requisite certificate” issued by the Ministry of defense/armed forces/Para Military forces in case the applicant comes under reserved category of war widows which would include those receiving liberalized pension.

Documents required for possession of plot after the draw

  1. Copy of bank account passbook/bank statement dully attested by the bank manager from which the allotment money has been paid along with payment proof.
  2. Affidavit as per the performa given in annexures C and D of the scheme brochure
  3. Undertakings as per performa given in annexures E
  4. Photograph and 3 signatures of self and spouse, if any, dully attested as per performa given in annexure F
  5. Identity and address proof
  6. Self attested copy of PAN card which was mentioned in the application form

  1. As mentioned above, one of the required documents is “Ownership proof of the property of the residence of the applicant”. Please educate me about this document. I am residing in the flat allotted by my employer. How and what kind of document can I give for above.

      • thank you for your response. i have another question – he is presently travelling abroad on an assignment for a few months. can i take GPA and represent him for the process of allotment and handover? the allotment will still be in his name, i will only represent him. thank you.

    what if applicant has no property registered in his/her name.?

  7. I applied through bank, and permanent address outside of Delhi. So bank will receive allotment letter or it will be sent on permanent residence???

    Ownership proof will be required of which address, permanent or correspondence address, as correspondence address is of bank I applied through??

    My wife do not hold a rent agreement on her name, what we can produce under “Ownership proof of the property of the residence of the applicant” ?

    She have a voter id and permanent address proof though.

      I think possession will be done after full payment…so attested passbook/statement is required of that account I.e. loan account…

      And for verification self attested copy of passbook or statement is required as per DDA book.

      Its only what i got from information brochr of dda 2014, If you get other information kindly share.

  11. Can you please elaborate on Pointer 4. I will tell you my situation. My hometown is Jammu, where I have a home which is on my Fathers name. I am currently working in mohali and living in a rented room. So what exactly is required here? What should I arrange for?

    • Neither mail nor SMS or any kind of correspondence regarding flat or about allotment letter…when it has dispatched or what is tracking number of it??…nothing….anyone got letter???

    Please give information about the following:
    1. Ownership Proof : My residence is in my father-in-law name. What proof can I give? I do not have a rent agreement nor property papers. Though electricity/ water bills are in his name.

    2. Proof of Payment : I have paid through Axis Bank finance. They have paid the money. I only have a receipt for the interest amount. What proof do I give in this case?

    I am resident UP (reabareli), I have applied for DDA and I was fotunate to have my name there in the winners list. I have prepared all documents are required.

    1. Now question is when allotment letter will come?
    2. It will come on my addess mentioned in the DDA form or it will go the bank?

    • As per the different banks’ loan executives who are calling for loan, the camp is going on at DDA Vikas Sadan and one can take the allotment letter from there on submitting the documents. I tried to comfirm form DDA helpline number but could not connect. Please see if you can connect and confirm. Please let me know as well.

    I spoke to the DDA helpline desk. They told that the CAMP will be organized very-very soon. The information will be shared via newspapers and Internet. It will be area-wise camp. So please keep a check on newspapers/Internet for all details.

    Kindly suggest that if i have the SC Certificate of Out side of Delhi. So is their any problem to attest the same from here. (Delhi)
    Or given me your other suggestion on it. This in regard of allotment of DDA Flat.

    I have financed 100000 as booking amount for my flat from sbi. So I didn’t get acknowledgement slip. But I got slip of loan amount, pls tell me whether the loan slip will work at the camp or do I need to get the acknowledgement slip from the bank.
