Krishi Unnati Mela 2018 is an initiative of central government to upgrade the level of farming with the moto of doubling the farmer’s income by 2022. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Krishi Unnati Mela in Delhi. The aim of organizing the Krishi Mela for farmers is to include latest farming technologies to the field and to give this knowledge to the farmers so that they upgrade their level of farming.
Krishi Unnati Mela is three days event organized for the welfare of farmers. During the event PM will lay a foundation of 25 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and also unveil a portal on organic farming. In Krisha Mela Delhi, more than 900 stall have been set up.

For contributing in the Krishi Mela Delhi 2018, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Textiles, North Eastern council will also set up stalls at the Mela.
