Kanpur Development Authority has come up new residential flat and plot schemes in December 2014 at different locations for all categories including EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG. The authority is offering several number of flats and plots in its previous housing schemes such as Mainawati Marg and others.
The authority invites applications from the residents for allotment of residential homes and plots at different locations from 21 December 2014. The last date of registration for the scheme is 20 January 2015.
The applications from all categories are invited offline and the application forms and scheme brochures can be purchased from the Main Axis Bank branch in Kanpur at Civil Lines and the authority office. The cost of application form for different categories is as below.
EWS: Rs. 105/-
LIG: Rs. 525/-
MIG: Rs. 787.50/-
HIG: Rs. 1050/-

The application forms can also be download from the official website of Kanpur Development Authority www.kdaindia.co.in. The cost of application form in this case will have to be deposited along with the registration amount through a separate challan.
The registration amount which is 10% of the cost of the flat/plot is to be deposited along with the application form through DD in favor of “Kanpur Development Authority, Kanpur”. The filled application forms can be submitted in to the designate Axis Bank branch along with the registration amount.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be an Indian Citizen with at least 18 year of age.
- The applicant, spouse and any dependent children should not have any plot/house in the development area of KDA, Awas Vikas Parisad, Improvement trust or any government authority in his/her name.
- The annual income for EWS and LIG applicants should not exceed Rupees 1 Lakh and 2 Lakh respectively.
- The annual income for MIG and HIG category applicants should be more than Rs. 2 Lakh.

Payment Terms
The EWS and LIG applicants will have to pay 15% of the cost of flat within 30 days after the allotment while MIG and HIG applicants are required to pay 25% of the cost within 30 days.
Rest 75% amount can be paid in equal monthly installments with interest in 20 years by EWS and LIG applicants. The MIG and HIG applicants will have to pay rest 75% amount in 8 equal quarterly installments with 15% interest.
If the applicant pays the complete amount in single installment, he/she will be given 5% discount on the total cost.
The registration amount of all unsuccessful applicants will be refunded without any deduction/interest by cheque within 30 days after the draw.
