JDA Will Soon Invite Applications for Residential Units Under 21 Housing Schemes

Latest Housing News, Schemes & Projects | By Rajkumar

Once again, Jaipur Development Authority is planning to launch new residential housing scheme in 2015 offering affordable residential plots. Earlier, JDA had launched housing schemes under which residential plots were on offer but due to high price, many applicants refused to purchase.

The successful applicants of 2015 schemes in Uday Vihar and Abhinav Vihar and Rohini did not purchase the plots due to the same reason. Now JDA is again planning to invite applications for the allotment of vacant plots in all the schemes.

The applicants believed that the fixed price for plots is much higher as compared to the market price. A property expert told the media that the plots sized equal to 90 square meter and 160 square meter are allotted on comparatively less reserve price but the 260 square meter plots were allotted on higher reserved price which is higher than the market price.

Moreover the private developers are selling the same plot size units at a lower price. The JDA official told the media that the zero development in the JDA’s previous housing schemes/projects is one of the major reasons behind the applicants withdrawing. These housing schemes/projects are located very far from cities, and the applicants thinks that the fast development in these areas is not possible in near future.

After the successful lottery process, the JDA applicants were trying to sell these plots. However, the big plot owner couldn’t achieve any success. One of the allottee told media that I posted an advertisement on website to sell my plot in Amrit Vihar, I received many queries for the same but people are not willing to purchase it due to higher rates.
