HBH Announces EWS Flats Scheme for BPL Families in 8 Locations in Haryana

Housing Board Haryana has announced EWS flats scheme for BPL families in 8 different locations across the state. The applications are already being invited from 19 August. The last date of registration for the scheme is 13th October 2014. Housing board is offering a total of 1185 three storey flats to the households belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL). The application forms and brochures of the scheme can be obtained from the authorized bank branches at a cost of Rupees 150/-. The applicants have to submit the duly filled application form along with the registration fee at the same banks branches.

Below are the details of offered flats

The applicants are required to deposit 10% of the tentative total cost of the flat as the registration amount. The tentative covered area of the flats would be around 300 square foot which may increase or decrease depending upon the site location. The flats at ground floor consists of 2 rooms, kitchen, 1 toilet and front and rear verandah while the rooms at first and second floor will have open balcony instead of Verandah.

The applicant should not contain any house in Haryana, Delhi or Chandigarh in his name or in the name of his/her wife/husband or in the name of his/her dependent relatives including unmarried minor children.
