Govt. to Launch Mukhyamantri Police Awas Yojana in MP for 25,000 Houses

Police Housing Corporation Madhya Pradesh is going to launch a housing scheme for the officials of police department and the scheme is named as Mukhyamantri Police Awas Yojana.

Under the new housing projects of Mukhyamantri Police Awas Yojana 2017, 25000 flats would be constructed for the officials of the police department in Bhopal and Indore.

The Chief Minister of MP, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given a nod to the scheme, for implementation process will begin after rainy season of this year. The implementation of Mukhyamatri Police Awas Yojana will be done in three phases by Police Housing Corporation Madhya Pradesh.

In the first phase of the scheme, 9,000 will be constructed and the Phase-2 and Phase-3 will cover the construction of 8,000 houses in each phase.

The residential apartments in the housing scheme would be constructed in five to 15 storey and all projects would be earthquake resistant.

The state government has allocated an amount of Rs. 3000 crore for the implementation of the scheme and every year around 5,000 houses will be constructed under Mukhyamantri Police Awas Yojana 2017.
