Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA) announced the draw result of Mukhya Mantri GRUH Yojna/Scheme. The housing scheme was earlier launched for Economical Weaker Section and Lower Income Group of the society. The authority had collected application forms in the registration period.

The scheme was state assistance for EWS and LIG category. Under the Scheme Surat Urban Development Authority had taken initiative to Construct 336 EWS Houses and 512 LIG Houses in its first Phase.
The Government of India had promised for providing the subsidy of Rs 75,000 per house and the government of Gujarat had also promised to provide the subsidy of Rs 15000 per each EWS house and Rs 25000 per each LIG house.
It is an affordable housing project by Surat Urban Development Authority. After the review of growth of urban population, the authority had decided to complete the demand of affordable houses for EWS and LIG category of the society.
To cope up the demand of affordable house, the government of Gujarat had decided to introduce the GRUH scheme for EWS and LIG category.
