Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has decided to start giving possession letters to allottees of Rohini Residential Scheme-1981 from October 31. The possession letters to allottees, who have made full payment, will be given in three stages depending on the date when the payment was made.
DDA has further simplified the process and directed officials to ensure that there is no inconvenience caused to people during the process. It has also set up a customer care center for assistance and complaints.
In order to speed up disposal of DDA-related matters, the agency has introduced some major systematic changes in the procedures, work flows, etc.
To check on encroachment, DDA vice-chairman Arun Goel has decided to do away with the enforcement wing and transferred the manpower to the land protection department. Enforcement work will now be done by engineers in charge of the area. “We will be giving mobile phones to all officers to check encroachment. A web-based application will monitor the same,” said a senior official.
