In the last 3 month survey DDA has revealed 5484 acres land from which 1691 acre land will use for residential purpose, it means that, DDA can soon come with new housing scheme with 1 Lakh flats. Except of these flats, DDA could also construct number of malls and adventure parks in Delhi on this land.
On the order of Vice-chairman Balvindar Kumar from the last three months, DDA had been working on finding the land in their region. Out of the total, 298 acres of land with the market value of about 30,000 crores is on the proceeding of Legal and other reasons. While, DDA does not yet have information about rest of the land.
DDA made the list of empty flats in east, west, north and south of Dwarka and Rohini and found 1242 empty flats. According to the vice chairman of DDA, the list of all empty flats in Dwarka and Rohini has been uploaded on the official website of DDA and the list also includes layout plans, total area and built-up area.
The land will be assigned to many projects, such as 1691 acre land for residential projects, 1067 acre land for industrial use, 11.4 acre for industries, 1132 acre for malls and parks, 359 acre free land and 1222 acre land for other purposes.
