Delhi Development Authority has decided a tentative date for the draw of its latest housing scheme 2014. According to NDTV sources, DDA is likely to hold the computerized draw for the allotments of flats on 14th November, Friday. The authority has been doing trial runs of the draw since Monday, 10th November for the allotment of 25,034 flats.

The draw will be available to watch online on Youtube for the first time in the history of DDA. The draw was delayed a few days because of issues with the data of applicants which was uploaded on DDA website. DDA later gave 2 more days to correct the mistakes in the application forms after initial deadline of correction which was 7th November.

The draw which will be held in the morning at around 10:30 will take about 60-90 minutes to complete. After the completion of the draw, the list of successful candidates will be made available on its official website. The tentative date of draw was originally set to 10th November which was later postponed to 12th and now again the tentative draw date has been set to 14th November which is still not final.

Delhi Development Authority has received over 10 lakh applications for its 2014 scheme from all categories including EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG. The number of applications received is much less than expected and one of the main reasons could be the 5 year lock in period for allotted flats.

The last date of receiving the applications for the scheme was also extended from initial 9th October to 15th October.
