CM to Inaugurate New Housing Scheme of Gujarat Housing Board

New Housing Scheme in Gujarat: Gujarat state residents will get a new housing scheme with the stack of flats. According to the source, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Anandiben Patel will inaugurate a housing scheme on 22 April 2016 for providing houses to the residents and the scheme would be developed by the Gujarat Housing Board. This housing scheme will benefit the lower income group and medium income group of the society.

Under the GHB new housing scheme, houses are constructed in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar at the worth of Rs. 163 crore and the scheme will be inaugurated by the CM at Manjalpur.

Besides, the CM will also inaugurate the first CNG fuel station build by Vadodara Gas Ltd (VGL) in the city on Friday. Patel will also lay foundation stone of five other works planned by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC). The CNG station at Nizampura has come up at a cost of Rs 18.5crore and has a capacity of 20,000kg/day compression. It can cater to 1,000 cars or 2,500 auto-rickshaws a day.

The CM will also kick off work on the Rajiv agar sewage treatment plant, a storm water drain for the eastern parts of the city, VMC zonal office at Akota and a drainage line in Navayard area of the city.
