Bihar State Housing Board or BSHB is the governing body of Bihar Government. The board was formed in 1972 and take care of planning and execution of several residential development schemes for the people of Bihar.
Following the main responsibilities of BSHB
- It is responsible for the development of sustainable and affordable residential townships in the state.
- To prepares the agenda for developing commercial infrastructure like malls, multiplexes, and hotels across the state.
- Developing the satellite township and urban villages around the metropolitan cities like Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur and metropolitan cities.
