Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced its 7th MHADA lottery may be launched in May or June. The MHADA lottery 2015 will be launched with 4468 flats at different locations Mumbai and Virar. The low cost homes under MHADA lottery 2015 as usual would be on offer for EWS, MIG and LIG Category of the Society.
In Mumbai total 785 flats will be available for registration which will be located at Goregaon (182 Flats for EWS), Mankhurd (364 Flats for LIG) and Malvani (232 Flats for LIG). For Medium Income Group 305 flats will be available in Gavanpada in Mulund & Sion Pratiksha Nagar complex. The rest 3683 homes will be allotted to the LIG and MIG categories in MHADA’s Bolinj project in Virar. MHADA is not offering even a single home in 2015 lottery to the higher income group of the society. The Lottery may be launched in the starting week of May.
MHADA Lottery 2015 Flat Details:
Eligibility Criteria for Applying in MHADA Lottery 2015:
- Applicant should be 18 years old.
- The Applicants who own or were allotted any flat/house/residential plot of any co-operative housing society (registered or proposed), either in her/him name or in their spouse’s name, they are not eligible to apply for the lottery.
- The Applicant must have a residential proof (Domicile Certificate) for applying. This certificate is a documentary proof that you are living here from last 15 years within the limits of the State of Maharashtra.
- The reservation category of Central Government employees is exempt to this rule.
- The average monthly income of EWS Applicant should be less than Rs. 8000/- while for LIG it should be lies in between Rs. 8001/- to Rs. 12000/-; for MIG the average income should be in between Rs. 12001/- to Rs. 20,000/.
