Haryana Urban Development Authority is planning to launch new residential plot schemes in 11 new sectors in Gurgaon in 2016. Along with Gurgaon, the authority is also planning to sell residential plots in nearby districts including Rewari, Bhiwani, Hisar, Kurukshetra and Sonipat to earn some cash.

The authority is currently going through some major cash crunches, hence, to overcome the crunches, the authority is planning to launch plot schemes in multiple sector of Gurgaon. HUDA is expected to earn about Rs. 6000/- crores by selling plots in new sectors.
HUDA proposed to launch new sectors in Gurgaon on 16 March during a conference, the new sector could be released by March 31st. The authority is planning to sell more than 15000 residential plots and hundreds of commercial plots in these 11 sectors in Gurgaon.
HUDA will not only earn money by selling plots but selling the application forms will also result in big chunk of money for the authority. HUDA sells each application form at about Rs. 1000/-, hence selling forms for 15000/- housing plots may earn up to Rs. 150 crores to the authority.
There are a total of 115 sectors in Gurgaon Manesar master plan out of which 57 sectors have been launched by HUDA and rest by the private developers.
HUDA is currently going through some major economic crises and the state government has also showed its lack to provide financial support to the authority. In this case, selling its own property through auctions and residential plot schemes is the only option left.
