Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin will now fulfil the dream of people living in rural areas of Bihar. PMAY-Gramin will now help the rural poor by providing them an financial help in converting their Kutcha house into Pucca house.
The government has set a target of PM Awas Yojana Gramin in Buxar District. According to the source, around 5304 affordable houses will be constructed under the rural housing scheme in the district for land identification process has been started.
Rural Housing Department Secretary, Arvind Kumar Choudhary has set a target of constructing 5304 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Buxar for the current financial year. Of total, 3810 houses are reserved for Scheduled Cast (SC), 443 houses for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 443 houses for minorities and remaining 888 houses for others.
According to the information received from the source, 3 percent of total target of houses under PMAY-Gramin will be benefited the handicap person. Rural housing department of Patna set provided a district-wise target of PM Awas Yojana Gramin and the target is to be set-up for panchayat and divisions of the districts.
