DDA Launched Mobile Apps for Feedback on Housing Schemes, Halls & Sports Arena

Today, 17 November 2015, Delhi Development Authority has launched four applications for the ease of consumers. These applications are for receiving feedback from allottees for its housing schemes, in a bid to bring in greater transparency and ease in consumer grievance redressal.

Arun Goel, the Vice Chairman of DDA had announced earlier that the authority were working on these applications. According to the source, one of these four applications will be for the monitoring of DDA’s internal project while the other four are for giving feedback on sports complexes, golf courses, community halls and housing schemes.
The user can access the all parameters like construction and maintenance in the first app by giving application number and full details of the applicants.

The senior official of DDA said in his statement that under ‘construction’ feedback, parameters such as seepage, condition of doors, windows, water supply, condition of sanitary, facade of the building, lifts etc can be given; whereas under ‘maintenance’ head feedback on parameters like grit wash, roof condition etc., can be given. The links to download the applications are available on the official website of DDA. Besides this, the links to register grievance are also available on the website of DDA for the same.

DDA’s Director Systems V S Tomar said that DDA 2014 Housing Scheme-related feedback can be given of now. And, since some of the possession of DDA 2010 housing scheme are yet to be given, they can also use the new facility.

Through the second mobile application of DDA, people can give feedback on the quality of services being offered by DDA in its community hall. According to the source, DDA has about 100 community halls under its jurisdiction in various localities.

“Rating in this community hall application is in the form of stars and below three stars will be rated as ‘not satisfactory’. This will facilitate effective monitoring of maintenance and functioning.

The payments to maintenance contractors shall be based on feedback from users,” the official said.

Through the third application people can give their feedback on sporting facilities under the urban body.

“19 parameters for various sports disciplines, available in the sports complexes, and also including the condition of toilets, snack bar etc, have been created. All these parameters have several sub-parameters where ratings can be given as ‘good’, ‘satisfactory’ or ‘poor’,” the official said.

Payments to contractors shall have direct link to the feedback, thus empowering users, the DDA said.
