Andhra Pradesh state government has launched an insurance scheme called YRS Bima Yojana or YSR Bima Scheme . The YSR Bima Yojana is a kind of insurance scheme which is providing security on the accident to families of poor and unorganised workers of AP state.
YSR Bima Yojana 2024
AP YSR Bima Yojana 2024 is an insurance policy scheme for poor people and unorganised workers of Andhra Pradesh. AP govt. has decided a budget of Rs. 510 crore for the YSR Bima Scheme. Under YSR Bima Scheme an insurance cover from Rs. 1.5 lakh to 5 lakh which will be deposited into the bank account of beneficiary family member bank account within 15 days.
Under YSR Bima Yojana, if the beneficiary dies due to an accident or suffers a permanent disability then the insurance amount will be received by the beneficiary’s family. Around 1.14 crore citizens of AP state will get benefits under this insurance scheme.
YSR Bima Yojana Application Form
For AP YSR Bima Yojana application form, the beneficiaries are not required to any kind of registration or application form. The volunteers will survey through door to door campaigns and check the white ration cardholders. After the survey, the secretary of welfare select beneficiaries list and list will be updated at Government of Andhra Pradesh official website.
YSR Bima Eligibility
There are following candidates are eligible for AP YSR Bima Scheme
All the unorganized workers of AP state whose age 18 to 70 years and having monthly salary less than 15000.
Andhra Pradesh state Unorganized workers should be enrolled through Praja Sadhikara.
Unorganized workers should registered under the Unorganized Workers Social Security Act, 2008 and also enrolled under YSR Bheema Scheme as beneficiaries
Beneficiaries must be permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
Beneficiaries must be white ration card holder.

Step-4: District wise abstract of eligible members under AABY and Accidental Insurance will open as shown below.
