YEIDA Master Plan-2031 Area to be Trimmed in Phase-II by the Authority

Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has supervised a survey to revamp the figure of the area comprises in the second phase of Noida Master Plan-2031. According to the source the aim of this step is to cut down the vast area in the proposed plan and the plan is exercising over the area of 58,000 hectares which comprising 1,188 villages across the four districts of Aligarh, Agra, Hathras and Mathura. The proposed plan is exercising for sustained and controlled development along with the 185 kilometer long Yamuna Expressway.

On 11 August 2015, in a meeting of members committee which was headed by additional CEO Arunveer Singh said that this committee is to submit its report within a month. He added, “The committee has to ascertain the maximum and minimum distances of villages falling in the proposed notified area of YEIDA as per the Master Plan. Villages placed at maximum distances from the Yamuna Expressway will be proposed to be removed from the notified area.”

According to the source the final approval of second phase of Master Plan-2031 is on a pending position from state government. The pendind position of the plan was declaration by the authority in the month of May of this year.The proposed plan consist four new urban townships in four popular area of Uttar pradesh including Aligarh, Agra, Hathras and Mathura.

According to the additional CEO the plan cover six districts of UP including Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandsahar, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura and Agra. “The closest to the Yamuna Expressway is GB Nagar, which has 132 villages in its vicinity. However, many villages in the districts of Hathras (421 villages), Mathura (431 villages) and Bulandsahar (40 villages) are far from the expressway making their inclusion in YEIDA unviable,” he also added.

The CEO of YEIDA said that “once the far-flung areas have been identified, they will be excluded from the Phase-II of the Master Plan. We will then outline a final geographical boundary of the notified area of YEIDA. The goal is to initiate planned development along the Yamuna Expressway and rein in encroachment. Because several areas are far, encroachment of our notified areas is taking place as it is difficult to monitor these areas”.
