Government has reduced prices of LPG Gas Cylinder (Subsidy/ Non-Subsidy) in April 2019. LPG gas cylinder reduction rate ranges by Rs.61 to Rs.65 for non-subsidy cylinders. Now people can check new price list of 14.2 kg/ 19 kg cylinder rates in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and other Indian cities for month of April 2019. The new price of LPG Gas cylinder remain applicable from 1st April 2019.
People can now compare these new cylinder rates with LPG Gas cylinder prices in previous month. People can check both the subsidy & non-subsidy gas cylinder prices to know the total amount which customer will have to pay to buy cylinder in the month of April 2019. People can also calculate the subsidy amount to be transferred into their bank account by the government.
Oil marketing companies (OMCs) revise the prices of subsidy and non-subsidy gas cylinders on 1st date of each month. Central government only provides subsidy on the 1st 12 gas cylinders to every household in one year under the direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme and additional purchases for LPG gas cylinder will have to be made at market rates.

The price of non-subsidized LPG gas on Wednesday was cut by Rs.61.5 per cylinder in line with a fall in benchmark international rates. The price of non-subsidy LPG gas , which a domestic household consumer buys after exhausting his quota of 1214.2-kg cylinder at below market price rates was cut to Rs 744 in Delhi.
