UPAVP to Build 4,000 Flats Under PM Awas Yojana in Lucknow

If you are dreaming a house in Uttar Pradesh then its a good news for you because the Awas Vikas Parishad of UP is going to construct 4,000 affordable low cost flats in Lucknow under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Besides, additional 20,000 flats will also be developed by the UP Awas Vikas Parishad under PMAY – Housing for all Mission.

Housing units under PMAY scheme will be made available in four-storey building for the categories of economical weaker section and lower income group of the society.

UPAVP is going to construct affordable houses under PMAY in Lucknow and these housing units will be available in G+4 storey building for EWS and LIG category. The Awas Vikas Prishad approved the proposal of the project while the scheme will be launched on the basis of housing demand in Sultanpur road Rae Bareli road and Hardoi road Lucknow. An amount of Rs. 1708 crore has been allocated for the construction of these housing units for this year.

A plan has also been approved by UPAVP for developing 480 flats at Sector-13 of Vrindavan Yojana-4, Rae Bareli Road.

Besides constructing flats for EWS and LIG, a separate housing plan will also be formulated by UPAVP for MIG (middle income group). And the housing units in this project will be available in the range of Rs. 12 to Rs. 20 lakh.

Housing Board has recently presented a presentation on the construction of 20,000 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in UP in front of CM Yogi Adityanath.

Official informed that the housing units under PMAY-UP will be provided on priority basis and to reduce the cost of units, new technology will be used for the construction of houses.
