News and Updates | By Rajkumar

The already delayed MIG flat scheme by UPAVP may see the light of the day by Diwali this year. The flat scheme for the medium income group of the society which was first expected to be launched in February this year has been re-scheduled due to protest by the farmers.

The scheme has been stayed by the high court over some land dispute resulting in delay in construction of flats and the scheme launch. The Awas Vikas Parisad is building about 1500 single family flats with all the latest facilities and some luxury features to be offered under the scheme.

According to the UPAVP secretary Rudra Pratap Singh, the scheme will be launched near Diwali when the land dispute between the authority and farmers has resolved.
