The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) was formed in 1947 as a small organization in the name of “City improvement Trust” to fulfill housing needs but in the year 1961 the organization was developed as “TAMIL NADU HOUSING BOARD” to cater all housing needs of rural peoples.
