On the celebration of Janamashtmi, Punjab Urban Development Authority has launched new residential plot scheme 2016 at Kapurthala for the allotment of 94 housing units. It is a new housing scheme of PUDA offering 65 residential plots at old Jail Site and 29 units at site near Army Contonment, Kapurthala.
The authority comprises of three types of residential plots including sizes, 150 square yard, 200 square yard and 250 square yard. These housing units are available at two different prices, Rs. 11,000/- per square yard and Rs. 12,500/- per square yard.
Applications for the allotment of these freehold residential plots are being offered through both online and offlien mode of registration from 24 August to 16 September 2016.

Application Procedure/ How to Apply:
Brochure along with application form cab be purchased from authorized bank branches by paying the cost within the registration period. Dully filled application alongwith the earnest money to be submitted in the same branches on or before the closing date. Earnest money to be submitted in the shape of crossed bank draft in favor of Estate Officer, PUDA Jalandhar payable at place/city of respective bank branches.
Applicants can also fill online application on PUDA’s official website www.puda.nic.in. In case of online mode, earnest money to be submitted through different modes such as RTGS and NEFT which are mentioned in the brochure Page No-10.

Eligibility Criteria: For being eligible to be considered for the allotment, the applicant should be:
- A citizen of India (Except Person of Punjab origin/ NRIs settled abroad) (Category ‘K’).
- He/She must have attained the age of majority i.e. 18 years as on date of submission of application.
- The applicant under reserve category must not have availed benefit of allotment of apartment/house/Flat under any reserved category in any scheme of any Government agency anywhere in the country.
