Rajasthan government has given an approved to the construction of 2,49,759 houses for the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana PMAY-G in Rajasthan. Out of total, first instalment of Rs. 30-30 thousands under PMAY-G in Rajasthan have been send to about 1 lakh 26 thousand 810 beneficiaries and 6,361 beneficiaries received the second PMAY instalment while the third instalment has been released for 485 beneficiaries.
Under the scheme, the government has set a target of constructing 4.31 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in Rajasthan. For 4,56,943 homeless people has been identified by the government to provide the benefits of rural housing mission.
Panchayati Raj minister, Rajendra Rathore informed that a list has been created for 2,95,738 families for constructing houses and all the houses tagged with GEO technology.
