Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana: Union Rural Development State Minister, Ramkripal Yadav informed that around 4,80,283 houses will be constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin in Jharkhand by the end of 2019. However, in the current FY-2017-18, the housing department has a target of constructing 16,422 houses.
Total eight types of housing units could be constructed by the beneficiaries. These houses will be constructed at hilly area, water area, plane and other area. An amount of Rs. 1.85 lakh would be provided to every beneficiary for the construction of houses under the scheme.
Besides this, Minister also informed that the centre has sanction an amount of Rs. 3093 for Jharkhand of which 1758 crore is for MNREGA, 636 crore for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 425 crore for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana and remaining 274 crore for employment and irrigation.

- Every town will be connected to the road and around 9872 KM will be developed.
- The government has demanded an amount of Rs. 9.36 crore for land survey and 131.36 crore for record room.
- 98 percent of labours are linked to Aadhar Card.
