Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Kanpur – The development agency of Kanpur is planning to contribute in the affordable housing mission of Central government. Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) is going to start Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Kanpur for the development of affordable houses for poor under housing for all mission.
As per the information received from the source, a budget of Rs. 50 crores has already been allotted to the agency for the implementation of PMAY-Housing for All Scheme and the amount will be increased on the basis of requirement.
A high end meeting has been scheduled for 25 April 2017. In this meeting, officials would finalised the relative works of PM Awas Yojana in Kanpur. Besides, number of houses to be constructed under the scheme will also be decided in the meeting.
A task of identifying the land for the construction of flats and houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been started by KDA Kanpur and further tasks to be come in the effects after the finalisation of the scheme.
