PMAY-NTR Nagar Scheme announced for providing affordable homes to urban poor under center’s flagship housing scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Andhra Pradesh. State government of AP will construct about 1.93 lakh houses for urban poor under PMAY-NTR Nagar housing scheme.

Andhra Pradesh CM laid foundation stone for construction of 1.20 affordable houses under PMAY in 38 cities and towns across of the state.

PMAY-NTR Nagar Housing Scheme

Andhra Pradesh government housing scheme would be implemented under the aegis of central government flagship affordable housing scheme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban. Total 1.93 houses would be made available under the scheme for urban poor of which 41,000 would be independent houses.

For Andhra Pradesh, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has approved 1,20,106 houses which will be made available for urban areas under PMAY. The government has set a target of developing about 2 Lakh homes in AP urban areas by the year 2022. And the estimate for this houses would be about Rs. 11,530 Crore.

These housing units would be constructed in quality buildings for help is being taken from Japan so that affordable and sustainable homes can be made available for poor under the scheme.

The state government, urban development authorities and municipal corporations are also inviting online and offline applications in their respective area and towns for selecting beneficiaries under PMAY. Applicants who are interested and eligible for PMAY can fill PMAY online assessment form for PMAY on pmaymis.gov.in.

Application forms for PMAY through CSC can also be submitted for you will have to pay the fee of Rs. 25 per application.
