Delhi Development Authority (DDA) approved land pooling policy 2019 and launched DDA land pooling portal available at official website dda.org.in. Housing and urban affairs minister of state Hardeep Singh Puri launched a web portal on which farmers and developer entities can register themselves to participate in land pooling, which will be implemented in the urban extensions of the city.
The policy will provide for 17 lakh houses in Delhi’s urban extensions . This will provide an alternate model for planned development through public-private partnership. The DDA will now plan and develop infrastructure in the new projects.
DDA Land Pooling Registration
Delhi development authority has started to receive registration for DDA land pooling policy, one can make registration by following the instruction given below:-
- To make DDA land pooling registration you have to visit official website dda.org.in.
- Click at Land Pooling option at the homepage.
- After that you will be redirected to another page.
- Now click at SINGLE WINDOW SYSTEM FOR LAND POOLING(EXPRESSION OF INTEREST) PORTAL.
- Now you will be redirected to a new website https://online.dda.org.in/landpooling/AppForm/Default.aspx.
- At the top of the homepage click at Registration option.
- Now select your village and type of owner.
- Now Registration Form will be opened at your screen, fill it with the complete details.
- After filling the form click at submit / register option.
DDA Land Pooling Policy 2019
Under the revised policy, the developer entity will get 60% of the total pooled land, which will be used for residential (53%); commercial (5%) and public and semi-public facility (2%). The remaining 40% of the pooled land will be earmarked for essential services and development of civic infrastructure.
The policy, first approved in 2013, was notified in October 2018. The DDA had revised the policy following concerns of unavailability of water reduction of Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for residential use to 200, bringing down number of dwelling units which can be constructed. “Policy was revised keeping ground situation in mind.
The new developments under the policy shall comply with the mandatory green building norms as prescribed in the MPD and building byelaws by incorporating principles like dual pipeline, maximum use of recycled water for non-potable purposes, conservation of rain water, zero waste technology etc.
