NTR Housing Scheme: AP Govt. to Construct 2 Lakh Houses

NTR Housing Scheme: K Mrunalini, the Minister of Housing directed the official to make all arrangements on April 14 for putting down a foundation stone for constructing housing units under the scheme.

According to the statement of K Mrunalini, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh would lay a foundation stone to launch the scheme in Jaggayyapeta in Krishna district.

Talking to the officials of the Housing Corporation through video conference, the minister K Mrunalini said that the programme of CM at Jaggayyapeta would be telecast and all the project directors in the district should make arrangements for its relay. And the CM will be laid a foundation stone of around 2 lakh houses across the state and 1,250 houses in every assembly constituency.

Meanwhile she added that the local ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other elected representatives should be involved in the programme.

On the incompleted houses sanctioned by the previous government, the minister said that `1,000 crore would be sanctioned to complete those houses, Mrunalini said.
