New Expressway Between Noida and Faridabad

Noida Authority has approved the 14-km long expressway to be built for easy and quick connectivity between Faridabad and Noida. The Authority has sent a letter regarding the proposal to Haryana Urban Development Authority for final nod. The new expressway between Noida and Faridabad will start from Sector 150, on the outskirts of Noida.

Once completed, the new expressway will offer easy connectivity for the commuters between Noida and Faridabad. This will put an end to the long traffic jams at Badarpur and Kalindi Kunj. Once started, the construction of the expressway will be completed within 3 years. A four lane bridge will be constructed to cross the Yamuna.

The expressway is a part of Noida Master Plan 2031 which is now waiting for the final nod from HUDA. The 14 Kilometer stretch will have entry/exit points between sector 150 and 152 in Noida near Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. The expressway will connect Yamuna bank, Dalelpur in UP, and Mehatpur, Lalpur, Bhupauni and Khedi villages in Haryana. The expressway will then join NH2 near Palwal.

According to the officials, it will benefit people of NCR and will make their travel smoother and faster. Apart from this, Noida Authority has also been working on developing the 2 proposed bridges to be built over Yamuna river to connect mega townships of Noida and Faridabad. The authority has appointed IIT Roorkee as the consultant for the 1200 crore bridge projects. The new bridges will allow people to travel from Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad to Faridabad without passing through any part of Delhi.
