Let me tell you that the Delhi government had launched mukhyamantri free teerth yatra yojana under which the old age people of the capital will be sent at holy places around the country on the expense of Delhi government.
The people who are above 60 years are eligible to be the beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri tirth yatra yojana Delhi. Delhi government has launched Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana to enable 1,100 senior citizens from each community in Delhi to undertake free pilgrimage. Under Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana AAP government will send total 77,000 pilgrims to avail this facility every year and the expense will be borne by the government.

- Any resident of Delhi above 60 years of age will be eligible for the scheme.
- The government will also allowed to be accompanied by an attendant above 18 years, whose expenditure will also be borne by the government.
- The applicant should not have an income of above Rs three lakh per annum and he or she should not be an employee of central/state/local government or autonomous bodies.
