On the celebration of Children’s Day, state government of Odisha launched a scholarship with name, Mukhyamantri Medhabruti Puraskar Scholarship for class 10th students who got merit in examination. The scheme will benefits the needy children by providing them a cash amount. Under the scheme, selected students will be provided an scholarship amount of Rs. 5000 to Rs. 40000 students. Another scheme with the name, Odia Bhasa Brutti Puraskar’ has been also launched by the government
Through Mukhyamantri Medhabruti scholarship / Odia Bhasa Medhabruti scheme, the government will distribute an amount of Rs. 5,000 to 10 individuals in 314 blocks of the state for securing good marks in Odia language in Class X.
