The newly-appointed COE and VP of MHADA, Milind Mhaiskar, confirmed that MHADA lottery 2017 launch date will out soon and the scheme to start in July and lottery draw will be held in August 2017. For inviting applications, advertisement for MHADA housing scheme will be available in July month.
Every year, MHADA launches its lottery for providing affordable flats and houses to general public at reasonable price. For its lottery, the authority gets overwhelming response from the public who are participating for getting mhada flats.

Houses in the most awaited housing lottery will be available in the various locations of Mumbai including, Tunga-Powai, Charkop, Vikhroli, Kandivli, Goregaon, and Mulund.
Chief Officer, Mumbai board, informed that the board is working in completing all processes and finalising the prices of flats after that the will be announced.
Senior official of MHADA said that we looked at other projects and somehow managed to get all those houses that are still under construction. We even got them registered with MahaRERA to meet all the criteria before commencing the lottery.
Most of the flats in MHADA Mumbai lottery will be reserved for EWS (Economical Weaker Section), whose monthly income is less then Rs. 25,000/-.

Draw of lots or a lottery for the allotment of flats in MHADA housing lottery 2017 will be conducted in the month of August as per the expectations.
