Due to the space crunch in the state, Maharashtra Housing Area Development Authority (MHADA) Mumbai ha decided to cut the count of affordable flats being offered to the public through lottery system of MHADA. Last year, total 972 homes were in the queue of sale. Number of home included in this year has been decreased by about 35 percent compared to last year.
As per information received from news published on Mid-Day, MHADA lottery 2017 would be launched in the last week of May 2017 and the advertisement of housing lottery scheme will be released on 31st May and registration and process of online application will be started from 1 June 2017.
MHADA Lottery 2017 Flats Details
Total 650 flats would be available in the housing lottery 2017 which are constructed by MHADA and a big count of flats are under construction due to which they are not included in 2017 MHADA lottery.
Categories
As per information, the authority is not offering even single unit in 2017 housing lottery for EWS category. Most of the flats being offered in the scheme would be reserved for the applicants belonging to LIG (lower income group) and MIG (Middle Income Group) category of the society.
