Meerut Development Authority has taken step forward towards providing houses to lower income group of the society. For the same the authority has published a notifications to invite applications for the allotment of 728 flats in three different housing scheme. In this notifications, the Meerut Development Authority invites applications from the lower income group for the allotment of 728 flats in Shatabdi Nagar Sector-1 Pocket-C, Defence Enclave Pocket-A and Ganganagar Yojna Pocket-H under MDA new Flat Scheme 2016.
Under these schemes, flats are available in four-storey building which are only available for lower income group. Of total, majority of 560 flats are available in Shatabdi Nagar Sector-1 and remaining flats are available in Defence Enclave and Ganganagar Yojna. The area of a single unit is about 31.33 square meter however the estimated cost of single unit is available at the price of Rs. 7.336 lakh, Rs. 10.23 lakh and 8.35 lakh in different schemes. The registration amount for a single unit is 10% of estimated cost of a unit.

How to Apply for MDA New Flat Scheme 2016:
Interested applicants can apply for the scheme before, 29 February 2016 and the registration for the scheme will starts from 1 February 2016. Applications form along with terms and conditions can be purchased from the authorized bank branches of Allahabad Bank and ICICI Bank by paying the cost of applications which is Rs. 200/-. Duly filled application form to be submitted with the required document in the same bank branches along with the registration amount.

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicants should completed the age of 18 years.
The annual income of applicant’s family should be less than Rs. 1,00,000 lakh.
To eligible for LIG category, applicant should submit the income certificate along with the applications form.
