Madhya Pradesh (MP) CM Awas Mission Yojana (Shehri) – 5 Lakh Houses to be Built for Urban Poor

The state government Madhya Pradesh is going to launch Chief Minister Awas Mission (shehri) Yojana 2019 to provide 5 lakh new homes to urban poor. The state government Madhya Pradesh will construct 5 lakh homes for the people who are living in backward and slum areas. The application form will be available online or offline for MP Mukhyamantri Awas Mission (shehri) Yojana after official launch of the scheme.

This Mukhyamantri Awas Mission (shehri) Yojana housing scheme will be quite different as compared to central government Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under this mission scheme poor people will get residential land on lease (patta) and pucca in the city. The houses will be built on rent basis and these houses will be built under Public Private Partnership (PPP).

The government will provide the lease (Patta) of redidential land to the urban poor under this scheme. The preliminary list will published 15 September tril and disposal of objections will be done and final list will be published by 30 October. Leases will be distributed from 5th November to 20th December and funds will be provide to make raw houses of the poor people.

Under this mission the land will be allocated free of cost from 1.5 lakhs rupees. The grant of Rs. 2.5 lakh will be given to build houses on it. Slaughter beneficiaries will be able to get a grant of Rs. 3 lakh and other beneficiaries up to Rs. 1.5 lakh for houses.
