The much awaited draw of Delhi Development Authority‘s largest ever housing scheme 2014 may be announced on Monday, i.e. 24th November.

According to the Hindustan Times sources, the draw may take place on Monday after a demonstration on Saturday. The authority has already postponed the draw a few times. 17 November was the final date when the draw got another date after last minute technical glitches.
The authority received a total of about 10,08,700 applications from across India for the scheme and due to the high amount of data, the draw process was taking approximately 8-9 hours to complete. However, with the help of computer experts, DDA has finally managed to complete the draw process within 2-3 hours.
A final demonstration of the draw will take place on Saturday and the draw is most likely to be announced on 24 November, according to a DDA official. The officials also said that the number of applications received, number of flats, categories and different parameters are resulting in the cycle of draw taking too much time to complete.
This is the largest ever housing scheme of authority offering 25,034 flats for all categories, and this will be the first time when the draw of scheme will be webcast live. The scheme was launched on 1st September and was extended to 15th October from 10th.

Is the draw confirmed for today i.e Nov 24th 2014. Till now i haven’t heard any official confirmation regarding this. Only HT newspaper published something. What happened to mock trial on saturday? was it successful?
Dera masterplan executives, do you have any further update regarding this? I understand even you are not officially involved but believe me you are un-officially DDA process followers. So please do write something to console who are stuck in this much hyped but less efficient scheme.

“nonsense” what is this, what they are doing
a) It was known that 20 lacs application forms were sold. Why not DDA system handle even
10 lacs applicants?
b) In 2010 scheme approx 8 lacs application came. when was the time taken by system
then? If it was approx 2 hours then how come this time its 9 hours for 10 lacs application
c) why DDA never publishes anything on its website about DRAW date?
d) Why DDA never puts reason for postponing the DRAW in their website?
e) Does DDA executives have any SELF-RESPECT? Why a DATE is announced when the
system is bound to fail on the date of DRAW?
f) Will DDA give same relaxation to people who will not be able to submit flat money as per already laid guidelines? will they be given 5 years instead of 1 year to pay flat amount to DDA? If not, then why DDA expects postponing 5 times is a joke?

We can understand the frustration of applicants, this is just ridiculous work by DDA. You are absolutely right, they do not publish any information on their official website, they are not transparent just about the reasons of delay, how can the draw process be transparent, I doubt it personally,
