On Monday, 27 March 2017, a program organised to conduct a draw result of 128 houses for lower income group in Adajan, Surat. The draw was conducted in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
After declaring the beneficiaries of LIG houses, Deputy Chief Minister laid foundation stone for new housing project in Parvat area, Surat. As per the information, the housing project will have about 1,200 flats for lower income group.
The source said that the Surat is the Gujarat’s economic capital and government is building these LIG houses here for those who don’t have house in Surat. The government will provide the people an affordable house at very low cost.
In a function held on Parvat-Godadara Road, Patel said that bill with harsher punishment for cow slaughter will be passed this week in the state assembly.
