The demand of housing withing Rs. 20 lakh is rapidly increasing in the area of Lucknow. Keeping this on view, the Lucknow Development Authority will soon bring out with 7,000 flats within the range of Rs. 20 lakh.
In the earlier launched housing scheme of LDA, application received by the authority for costly flats were quite less while for flats cost upto Rs. 20 lakh were quite more compared to the costly flats. On keeping this in mind, the LDA will construct apartment and housing units upto Rs. 20 lakh in Mohan Road, Basant Kunj, IIM Road and CG City
To fulfill, the demand of housing in the area, the authority will construct housing units in Basant Kunj, Mohan Road, IIM Road and CG City and around 10 thousand flats will be constructed by the authority of which 70 percent flats will be available at the cost of less than Rs 20 lakh.
The cost of flats in Saryu apartment, Sopan enclave, Sargam enclave and Sunrise apartment is over Rs 40 lakh for which the authority had received less applications from the applicants. So this year, the authority will create 70 percent flats at the cost of Rs 20 lakh.
According to the source, the apartment buyer have a capacity to pay upto Rs. 20 lakh for a single units while they feel hard to pay above Rs. 20 lakh for apartments.
For the same, the official of Lucknow Development Authority quoted that the authority is trying to provide affordable housing by creating EWS and LIG flats in the city. This year, seven thousand flats are preparing to build at the affordable price of Rs 20 lakh. Our goal is to affordable housing for home seekers while investors can go anywhere.
