Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is all set to offer about 5800 flats in its new affordable housing scheme to the residents of the city. The project is being built on the Bypass between Kanpur and Hardoi Road. The authority will start the civil work on the project in next month.
UPDATE: Latest Housing Scheme 2015 of LDA
The authority will offer flats to the Economically weaker section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG) and Middle Income Group (MIG) of the society. The authority will built Mini MIG and Super MIG flats where mini MIG has a less area compared to regular area and super MIG has larger area with some additional features. The Para Township project is a part of Kanshiram Awas Yojna and will be built in an area of about 15 hectares.
The land rates at the site of project construction are much lower at Rs. 6,600/- per square meter compared to Gomtinagar where the prices starts at around Rs. 33,000/- per square meter. Hence the cost of the flats is expected to be much lower. Lucknow Development Authority will first raze the old 1900 EWS flats at the construction site and then will build new. These EWS flats were build by LDA in 2000 but no maintenance was done and most of the flats were left vacant and in poor condition.
The authority will hold the draw of flats in phased manner and the allottees who are already living in some of the flats will be allotted first. LDA will build around 30 blocks of high rise 12-19 floor buildings under the project.
The authority is waiting for the environmental clearance for the project only after which the construction can begin.

Never book flats in LDA lucknow bcz from 2011 maximum flats possession are still pending apprx 19 projects we are only waiting to get from 2011 .
